Roadtrip 2015 Fall: Vancouver - Astoria - Bandon - Anderson - Paso Robles - Palm Desert - Morongo Valley - Sedona - Henderson - Lone Pine - Sacramento - Ashland - Newport - Astoria - Vancouver

Day 42 - Sedona Snow and Sleet Day

It was predicted - and yes indeed - here it is. Sedona snow is upon us.

The picture window yields a picture perfect winter scene. Of course the picture perfectness is highly debatable.

Might as well hang out at the Sheltie Broiler.

It's a good day for Russ to rest his recently injured knee. The story is - he fell out of a pink jeep yesterday. Uh huh.

The desert in snow - it is a highly resilient eco system.

The storm becomes even more ferocious.

The snow slakes off - just lots of big roily remnant clouds passing through - until the next band passes.

We head uptown to do some shopping - for food, of course. It continues to rain insanely. No vortexers in sight. It appears vortexing is a shine-only activity.

This is the view from the Hyatt Resort's mall.

The highland peaks emerge from the clouds right at the end of the day, sporting a light dusting of snow.
